AI-powered exploration. Human insight when it matters.
Brand Research combines AI-generated perspectives with experienced human recruitment to help research teams explore ideas quickly, sharpen hypotheses and validate them with genuine participants.
WHAT IS THE BRAND RESEARCH AI PANEL?
Our AI Panel is a carefully constructed set of simulated research participants designed around an agreed audience or customer profile. It can generate early-stage reactions, explore different viewpoints and identify themes before — or alongside — human research.
AI participants are not real people, and their responses are never presented as real respondent evidence. Their value lies in fast, structured exploration that helps focus the questions worth taking to genuine participants.
WHERE CAN IT HELP?
Early exploration of concepts, communications and propositions
Developing or stress-testing hypotheses and discussion guides
Identifying themes, tensions and questions to investigate with real people
Comparing AI-generated expectations with feedback from recruited participants
HUMAN INSIGHT REMAINS ESSENTIAL
AI can generate possibilities. Real participants reveal lived experience, nuance and unexpected behaviour.
Use Brand Research AI to explore the possibilities — and Brand Research Recruitment to discover what real people actually think.
Because we already recruit consumers, professionals and specialist audiences, we can connect AI-assisted exploration with carefully screened human participants. Clients can use either service independently, or combine them within one joined-up approach.
HOW IT FITS INTO AN EXISTING PROJECT
Clients can send us the same brief and screener they already provide. We use these to shape the recruitment activity — including invitations, targeted advertising and participant screening — and, where useful, to build a corresponding AI Panel.
The AI Panel can run before human fieldwork to explore likely themes and refine questions, or alongside it to provide an additional point of comparison. It is an optional layer within the existing recruitment process, not a replacement for genuine participants or a requirement for Brand Research to lead the client’s later analysis.
BUILT FOR COMPARISON, NOT ASSUMPTION
Where human validation is included, we compare AI-generated findings with feedback from genuine participants. We clearly report where the findings align, where they differ and which questions require further human exploration.
RESEARCH OUTPUTS THAT FIT THE WAY YOU WORK
Every AI Panel project starts with agreed outputs proportionate to Brand Research’s role. Depending on the scope, these may include:
Audience and simulated participant profiles
Clearly labelled transcripts from the AI interviews or group-style discussion
A summary of the themes and possibilities identified
A comparison note where the AI Panel is paired with genuine participant feedback
Optional thematic analysis, findings summary or post-fieldwork presentation where commissioned
You will know in advance exactly what Brand Research will provide. The AI Panel can remain a focused add-on to recruitment and fieldwork, or form part of a wider research support package.
EXAMPLE AI PANEL OUTPUTS
Final deliverables are agreed in advance and tailored to the scope of each project.
FLEXIBLE WAYS TO USE IT
AI exploration before human fieldwork
AI and human responses compared alongside one another
A focused pilot added to an existing recruitment project
There is no new platform for clients to learn. Share your brief and screener as usual and Brand Research will manage the agreed recruitment and AI Panel activity. The client or research agency can retain control of the main analysis and final presentation unless a broader scope has been commissioned.
RESPONSIBLE AND TRANSPARENT
AI-generated outputs are always clearly labelled. We agree their intended use, avoid collecting unnecessary personal data and never blur the distinction between simulated perspectives and genuine participant evidence. Human recruitment continues under Brand Research’s established MRS and ICO-aligned processes.
EXPLORE A PILOT
AI-assisted research can be introduced as a focused, low-cost pilot or as a complement to a wider recruitment project. You do not need to have every detail finalised — tell us what you are exploring and we can suggest a proportionate approach.
